The project is located in the new technology base of Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences (SARIAS) in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, which is divided into four monoliths, namely, Zhangjiang Laboratory R&D Building, Power Center, Supporting Basement and Rubbish Station, with a total floor area of 109,713 square meters, 9 floors above ground, with a floor area of 69,750 square meters; and 2 floors below ground, with a floor area of 39,963 square meters.Among them, the R&D building has a single building area of 97,655 square meters.
