The project is located in the South extension section of Tuas in Singapore. It is the first large-scale comprehensive Shipyard Project in the region. With large quantities, tight construction period and high technical standards, it is highly valued by the governments of China and Singapore. After the completion of the project, it was appraised as "future shipyard", "dream shipyard" and "model of new era shipyard" by the Singapore government.
